This DVD by Jeff Smith shows younger children performing with dowel rods. There are three songs and a reading. After each performance, Jeff explains step-by-step along with the kids, how to do each movement of the rods and each step of the performance. These are accomplished by upper elementary kids and seem to be easy to learn. While these songs may be short and performed easily, they can also be shown to kids as a performance to teach them the
lesson of each song.
The titles are:
- a song about the birth of baby Jesus the King
- A short country steppin' tune by Carman expressing "Yes I do, Trust in You, All the Way."
- A song by Dan Fogelberg showing a boy growing into a man singing, "I've Always Been in Love with You."
- The story is acted out with rods as Jeff reads this short story of three trees, their dreams and how God uses them.
